“ Wait was a little long, but the great food and service made it worth the wait! The patty melt was perfect! And the onion rings were great! ”
“ We needed a break from driving but not too long of a break. So we stopped for lunch here and i was so surprised. With the confederate statue out front i was nervous my husband might have issues or at the least some odd stares but it was fine! The staff was so friendly! And the food! I really want expecting much but pleasantly surprised by the quantity and quality. Loved the shrimp and burger. Skip hush puppies though. No bueno. ”

We parked right in front of the restaurant, but the streets are a little wonky, so if you have a longer vehicle, you may want to park across the street. “ What can I say? Has to be the best cheeseburger I've had. My wife and I like to find these older places to have a good burger. We have found quite a few awesome burgers. But this is our favorite. Sometimes they may be out of an item, but then again I'm there for the burger. Almost always a double, sometimes a triple occasionally the Boomer a 4 patty. ”
“ We wandered off of I-26 into downtown Clinton and stumbled upon this wonderful local restaurant. We were greeted by the friendly staff among what was obviously the local diners, including some of the local firefighters. My wife’s hamburger was clearly handmade and fresh. My hot dogs were as good as I have eaten in many years. The French fries were hot and crispy and the slaw was cold and creamy. The dessert list looked very good, but we just didn’t have any more room for any. We are always looking for good local restaurants, and this is one of the best places we have found. Stop in. You won’t be disappointed! ”

“ Good quality at a fair price. I'm cheap, so 9 for an appetizer was a little steep for me, until they brought out a bigger basket of fried green beans than any place in Greenville ever served me. The Buffalo chicken sandwich was balanced with enough heat to feel it, but not overpowering. But the fresh cut fries were the star of the show for my wife and me. Skylar took good care of us, and we'll definitely be back. ”
